Following the success of my previous collaboration with Mia Atelier, this bride reached out seeking support in designing her own custom gown for her 2026 wedding at Ballara Receptions. She envisioned a vintage-inspired design, with must-have details including ivory taffeta and a sweetheart neckline. Together, we began exploring her vision, ensuring it felt both timeless and tailored to her personal style.

In collaboration with Mia Atelier, the design process focused on capturing vintage romance through fabric and silhouette. Ivory taffeta was selected for its structure and subtle sheen, while the sweetheart neckline formed the foundation of a classic yet feminine look. Initial sketches and fittings have shaped the gown’s direction, with refinements being made to ensure the design evolves in line with the bride’s aspirations.

This project is currently in progress, with the gown in its revision stages. Each fitting continues to refine the silhouette, fabric drape, and detailing to ensure the final design will perfectly complement the bride and the setting of Ballara Receptions.

As the project is still underway, the final result is yet to be unveiled. However, with the collaborative foundation established between the bride, Mia Atelier, and myself, the gown is on its way to becoming a truly timeless and romantic statement piece for her 2026 wedding.
